Yuan Internationalization
- [UNVERIFIED] The ceasefire negotiation involved a political deal in which the US asked China to constrain Iran from threatening Hormuz, while China secured better terms from Iran (higher RMB settlement percentages, greater oil discounts) in exchange for BeiDou satellite coverage.
So, if you’re China and you’re gonna give them this satellite coverage, what would you ask for? Well, to me, if I was China, I’d ask for two things. One, I would ask for a greater discount on my oil… more importantly way way more importantly I would ask for the 40% paid in remi to go up to 80%.
What Is Predicted
- [UNVERIFIED] China is expected to issue a yuan-denominated government bond backed by gold, intended to attract foreign capital into the renminbi.
they’re going to be coming out with yuan gold base base Chinese government bonds. I think they’re going to be very popular and that will allow big money to buy those bonds, get into the renminbi that way.
- [UNVERIFIED] A structural shift is underway where oil and gas traded through the Strait of Hormuz is being settled in Chinese yuan.
the ships coming through are paying for their oil and gas and everything in yuan, which is historic.
- [UNVERIFIED] China’s yuan-based, gold-convertible trade settlement system is projected to be developed and implemented in phases between 2025 and 2045, with the objective of becoming a credible alternative to the dollar for global trade.
The scenario is graded in four phases faces from 2025 to 2045.
